BCLA encourages its members to continue to enhance and improve their skills through professional development in the field of Landscape Architecture.

This section is a resource for landscape architects and students with information about requirements for becoming a member of the BCLA, Continuing Education (CE), and accredited programs in landscape architecture offered by Canadian and American Universities.

The CE program became mandatory at the beginning of 2004 after a three-year voluntary program. To maintain the objectives of the Society; the Continuing Education Initiative; and to strengthen the public's confidence in the BCLA, all Registered Landscape Architects, Landscape Architects, Inactive Landscape Architects and Intern Landscape Architects are requested to annually monitor their Continuing Education activities as outlined in the policy. Registered and Intern Members can download a partial list of current CE opportunities on the BCLA Members Services Page: Password Secured Link
