Montréal’s Le Sud-Ouest borough is launching a multidisciplinary design competition to develop the Parvis De Biencourt. We invite professionals in the field of development to submit innovative design solutions of exemplary quality to reshape Rue De Biencourt, with completion planned for September 2018.

This competition is part of an initiative (Programme d’implantation de rues piétonnes et partagées) aimed at accelerating the implementation of pedestrianization projects in public areas, with the ultimate goal of creating an urban dynamic that revolves around people and that places citizens at the heart of the urban development process.

This project competition is multidisciplinary, national in scope  and held in two stages: the first consisting of anonymous proposals, the second consisting of payed service offerings prepared by four jury-selected finalists.

The Competition in figures:

$15,000 for each finalist (4) to develop their idea

$135 850 for the winner to complete the project

$950,000 for the construction
