Level 1 Basic CPTED Course

The 4-Day Level 1 Basic Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) course will provide the participant with a solid, practical, working knowledge of CPTED Principles and Strategies. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation CPTED, Community CPTED and SafeGrowth® theory, concepts and terminology will be covered. Projects, case studies, a written test and group participation will provide the participant with the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of course objectives. Daily case study assignments will prepare participants for the real world syndicate project at the end of the course. The Level 1 CPTED Course is a pre-requisite for taking the 4-Day Level 2 and the 2-Day Level 3 CPTED Courses.
