The BCSLA/UBC Book Donation Program is a collaboration between the BCSLA and the University of British Columbia (UBC) Library.
The BCSLA donates funds to the program annually, which are matched by the UBC Library for the purchase of books to help students prepare for the Landscape Architectural Registration Exam and for working in the profession. The BCSLA works in collaboration with The UBC Architecture and Planning Librarian to develop the selection of book titles that are purchased for the library. The BCSLA Intern & Associate Sub-Committee felt sharing the book list with our Members and Associates might provide some fresh perspectives for those looking for a new book to delve into. I
Don’t forget you can claim Continuing Education (CE) Credits for self-direct study (e.g., reading a book). Please note, retail pricing may differ from the library purchase list.
A huge thank you to: Sarah Thomas, BCSLA Intern and Associate Representative, Kees Lokman, UBC SALA Representative, Paula Farrar, UBC Librarian and the Intern & Associate Sub-Committee members: Arlene Gillman and Aaron Li for their time and contributions to this effort.
