Due to a retirement vacancy, the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is looking for a seasoned professional to fill a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) position as the Director, ParksServices. In this position, you will be responsible and accountable for the overall service delivery, management, and performance of the RDCO’s parks portfolio. This position will strategically lead the department in conjunction with the Chief Administrative Officer’s mandate to achieve the Board’s vision and strategic priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration, Landscape Architecture, Public Administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ten years in progressively responsible local government management positions covering program management, budget administration and capital project management.
