The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for a regular full-time Landscape Design Technician to join our team of professionals in the Community Development Division, Green Infrastructure Services Department.
Reporting to the Manager, Green Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible in this unionized position for performing technical work related to landscape design, both in the office and the field. As part of the Green Infrastructure Services team, you will administer Township landscape requirements, review designs and specifications for conformance to applicable neighbourhood plan requirements, by-laws and conditions, and coordinate aspects of the Municipal Street Tree & Boulevard Planting program through the development review process. The duties are technical in nature and require significant coordination with other Township departments.
