SFU CITY108 Introduction to Landscape Architecture SFU Continuing Studies (City Program) Oct 22, 2024 : 6:00 pm

This course is four evenings online beginning October 22.

How do landscape architects create both beautiful and functional urban and rural spaces?

This course will introduce you to the field of landscape architecture and its relationship with history, art and design, urban adaptation/re-use, ecological systems, climate change, Indigenous reconciliation, and spatial and social justice. You will explore how landscape architects design private and public spaces using ecology, culture, art, and fabrication, and delve into some of the profession's foundational ideas, basic tools and contemporary issues.
