Early Career Designer/LA (2-5 years)

We are looking for a creative problem-solver with 2-5 years of experience in landscape architecture. You should be eager to learn, contribute, and passionate about creating spaces that are adaptable, resilient, and future-focused.

What you’ll be doing:

- Assist in the design and documentation of climate-adaptive and public realm landscape projects

- Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to develop innovative, holistic solutions

- Actively participate in our learning and teaching environment, giving and receiving constructive feedback

- Help convince even the toughest audience that your ideas are the best solutions

This is a full-time, on-site position in Vancouver. Your seat will have a view of the mountains.

Rate of Pay: 
$32-$39/hr
Education: 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture

 

Experience: 

- 2-5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or design

- Digital literacy and willingness to learn new tools and technologies

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and visual

- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines (design, ecology, planning, construction)

- Keen intellectual curiosity and a high standard for your own work

- Valid work visa for employment in Canada

 

Nice-to-Haves:

- Experience with climate adaptation or sustainable design practices

- Familiarity with 3D modeling software

- Exposure to ecological or environmental science concepts

- BCSLA membership or interest in registration.
