Join Zach as he speaks about practice issues in landscape architecture and how they're being addressed across North America and internationally. He'll discuss results from the Global Job Task Analysis developed in partnership with the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) to better understand the profession across the globe from the perspective of practitioners and identify how practice is similar or different globally, regionally and nationally. He'll share positive examples of design professionals working together across the United States to define scope of practice in legislation, and how Interorganizational Council on Regulation (ICOR) members are partnering to develop guidance for professional licensing boards on how to best regulate overlapping practice between the professions of architecture, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, and surveying.
