Please join the BCSLA Public Sector Subcommittee for a presentation on the CSLA award winning People, Parks, and Dogs: A strategy for sharing Vancouver's parks. The strategy was adopted by the City of Vancouver to help create safe and engaging park spaces for people with and without dogs.
As in many other major North American cities, the number of people and dogs in Vancouver is growing. With population growth and people living in smaller spaces, it’s now more important than ever to balance different uses of parks and public spaces. This presentation will kick off a discussion about current dog related issues and solutions from different municipalities/public agencies. Space2place has generously offered to host the event. Snacks and refreshments will be available to help feed the conversation.
What: BCSLA Public Sector Subcommittee – Dogs! A discussion on recent plans and policy addressing the issues with dogs in public spaces (and in our rapidly growing cities in general).
When: 6pm - May 17th 2018
Where: space2place design inc., #200, 291 East 2 Avenue, Vancouver, BC
