Company information:
Founded in 1975, CSW is a nationally recognized firm specializing in landscape architecture and urban design. Our portfolio includes international experience and the highest level of design and technical ability in the industry. We regularly work on broad range of projects including transportation and streetscape design, community and mixed-use design, parks and recreation, environmental design and reforestation, urban plazas, health care and institutional design, and master planning. We maintain strong working relationships with our public and private sector clients, and we have significant experience working with a variety of key stakeholder groups, First Nations, and multi-disciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive service and deliver successful projects. Attention to detail and a hands-on-approach from design through to construction allow us to examine life cycle costing and to provide sound environmental applications and built solutions. We approach all projects with the desire to enhance people’s experience of the space, encouraging interaction and social, cultural and ecological connections. A successful design solution establishes a clear language that contributes to sense of place while also ensuring more practical concerns including public safety, sustainability, and robust design that reduces life-cycle costs.
